It is ironic that the American Medical Association’s ethics publication called the Virtual Mentor, published a proposal from two of researchers that claim they are running out of human volunteers. So the solution? Mandatory clinical trials for everyone! The scary part is all it takes is one stroke of the political pen and it all becomes real!

Of course, like everything other mandate or political proposal to rob you of your health, wealth and freedom, it would be cited as being “for the greater good”…And are even having the nerve to compare getting poked to jury duty!!!

Well, forgive me, but I have never heard of anyone suffering terrible
lingering side effects or even death doing jury duty….Have you? And the reason they are even considering doing this is because the volunteer base has shrunk. People know what has happened to the volunteers….

People are better informed than ever and if you value your freedom now is the time to speak up and be heard. Contact everyone you can think of from your Senators, to governors to the President and law enforcement agencies. Twice or more if you have to…let them know in no uncertain terms you are not going to stand for this!

How Safe Is Your Pet’s Flea and Tick Killer?

Laboratory studies of ingredients in seven popular flea and tick
control products reveal adverse health effects in all animals
tested. The effects of these well known and aggressively marketed
products range from convulsions, body tremors and labored
breathing to thyroid cancer, brain lesions, and liver and lung
tumors. Yet TV commercials with trusty looking veterinarians
pitch only the happy side of these products.

Which flea and tick pesticide are you using on your dog and/or
cat? If your favorite treatment contains the active ingredient
Fipronil, Imidacloprid, Methoprene, Permethrin, Pyriproxyfen or
the inert ingredient Butyldydroxytoluene, Butylhydroxanisole,
Carbitol, Ethanol, or Polyvinlpyrrplidone, you need to know about
the not-so-happy side of these products as well.

sell you such a sinister poison, think again.

Advantage (Bayer Corporation), Adams Spot-On Flea and Tick
Control (Farnam Pet Products), BioSpot Flea and Tick Control
(Farnam Pet Products), Defend EXspot Treatment (Schering-Plough
Animal Health), Frontline Top Spot (Merial Limited), Frontline
Plus (Merial Limited), and Zodiac FleaTrol Spot On (Wellmark
International) – all contain one or more of the aforementioned
active or inert ingredients.

Toxicology and morbidity findings from these pesticide products
were gathered over a decade of laboratory testing by the United
States Environmental Protection Agency; Occupational Safety and
Health Administration, U.S. Department of Labor; Extension
Toxicology Network; Journal of Pesticide Reform; Pesticide Action
Network North America and other sources, with additional
information supplied by Material Safety Data Sheets.

Most laboratory testing was performed for the benefit of new
product manufacturers in order to qualify for EPA registration.
Scientists overdose laboratory animals to determine how much of
the product will kill 50% of the test population. Information is
then extrapolated and assumptions made that may apply to domestic
animals and human beings.

According to laboratory tests, Fipronil (Frontline Top Spot and
Frontline Plus) is a neurotoxin and suspected human cancer agent.
Fipronil can cause liver toxicity, thyroid cancer, kidney damage,
raised cholesterol, lack of coordination, labored breathing,
miscarriages and stunted offspring.

Laboratory testing of Imidacloprid (Advantage) on mice, dogs and
rats shows this insecticide to be neurotoxic to laboratory
animals, also causing a breakdown of coordination, labored
breathing, lesions of the thyroid, reduced birth weight, and
increased birth defects.

The synthetic broad spectrum pyrethroid insecticide Permethrin
(Adams Spot-on Flea and Tick Control; BioSpot Flea and Tick
Control; and Defend EXspot Treatment) shows indications of being
an endocrine disrupter and the cause of lung cancer and liver
tumors in laboratory animals.

Methoprene and Pyriproxyfen (Zodiac FleaTrol Spot On; and BioSpot
Flea and Tick Control) are known as insect growth regulators
(IGR), both of which restrict the growth of fleas to the juvenile
stage where reproduction is not possible. Laboratory testing
reveals that Methoprene causes enlarged livers and degeneration
of the kidneys.

Please don’t misunderstand me. I am not suggesting that your
veterinarian or local pet store would knowingly sell you poison.
Few people actually read EPA’s test results. Fewer still want to
hear about the many laboratory test subjects (unwanted dogs and
cats) killed during and after the studies in order to determine
damage to specific systems and organs.

But it only takes a few people with straightforward thinking to
bring about change. Are you ready to stop this insanity? There
are effective alternatives, as you know.

Today there are totally natural flea and tick remedies -
completely harmless to kids, pets and the environment – made
from pure botanical essential oils. Some natural products work
fairly well, some don’t, and some work much better than the
toxic stuff!

The mode of action – the way these natural remedies kill fleas
and ticks – is to disrupt the insect’s ability to function by
blocking a substance called octopamine. In nature, certain plants

I know, I know! You’re thinking that should go “Sunshine, lollipops and rainbows” right? Sorry.

Have you noticed that skin cancer is gaining more ‘air-time’ recently? Well, that’s good that the word is getting out to ‘cover up’ or at least protect yourself against harmful rays.

However, this of course got me to thinking…Why was it that we didn’t hear about skin cancer say – oh, 50 or so years ago? Even as a teen I remember reading headlines in fashion magazines, “Become a nut-brown maiden this summer”….Oh yeah, you remember don’t you? *Smile*

While I cannot point with great certainty at any point within the past 20-30 years and say, “This is when it happened!” I can tell you the cumulative result. People are developing skin cancer, (our skin is the largest organ we have) and sun-sensitivity is not so uncommon. But, why?!

Well, we only need to look at the ‘advances’ our modern style of living has ‘given’ us – (and yes, skin cancer is one of those). We have pollutants in our air, water, food, and even our food is fed artificial hormones and cross-hormones (I don’t know what they call pollinating or fertilizing vegetables with chicken parts for example). So even vegetarians cannot be certain that the veggies they eat are not fertilized with chicken parts, or even combined with tomato and chicken DNA to produce those nice large tomatoes. (Don’t laugh, it really is done!) It is the plastics that we get our liquids from (think milk, ‘bottled’ water and many other liquids) that leach pollutants into the liquid from the plastic. Not to mention all the chemical additives…

Our bodies just don’t know how to process these harmful – no, fatal – chemicals. We are, as a species, becoming sicker and sicker. To those that are diligent enough to avoid all these harmful processes you will notice they are not effected by the sun ‘harmful’ rays. Our ancestors didn’t have to worry about screening out the harmful suns rays. Yes, there were indeed periods when it was considered the height of fashion to be pale, with milky white skin. But I am talking about the normal, everyday people that work the fields to produce the food we eat; I’m talking about children playing in the sunshine; I’m talking about people taking sun baths and soaking up that wonder vitamin that we need to not only survive but to thrive – vitamin D! The sunshine vitamin!

I just feel that it is a sad thing that we must be afraid of the very thing that gives our planet and us the very thing we need. And all because it is – to paraphrase- (or being snarky – take your pick) better living through chemicals. Yeah, right…

Thanks to whistle blower  Cheryl Eckard one company was shut down. I’m sure you have seen the law firms advertising the dangers of drugs. Cheryl Eckard reported gross negligence at the Cidra plant which is one of Glaxo-Smith Kline subsidiaries.

Anyway, just a little cautionary tale, there’s nothing ‘wrong’ with a little love bite, just don’t give one (or receive one) over a major artery!

Sounds like a story line for a science fiction movie, doesn’t it? Well, as they say, sometimes truth is stranger than fiction. And while the future of the human race may not be quite as dire as the title suggests, there are indeed some sobering facts with the fertility of not only women but men as well. And we are doing it to ourselves!

I hope that last sentence got your attention (as if the headline didn’t) and I hope it triggered a reaction of shock and mild anger. And as a result you are continuing to read to find out more, rather than just hitting the “X” and hiding your head in the sand. We cannot afford to ignore or continue to say nothing. By saying nothing we are giving consent to what is happening.

I just read a report today that said that even teenagers are not having as many babies as in the past. While that is a ‘good thing’ for the problem of teen pregnancy it does not bode well for the human race. Teenagers have always had babies and are a hot-blooded mix of hormones running wild and teenage rebelliousness teens will always do what ‘comes naturally’. Sure, many will attribute the decline in teenage pregnancy to contraception, abstinence, etc. And while that may be happily true, for the most part it isn’t the reason. Pure and simple: fertility is down, and it is a man-made condition. Look to ‘immunizations’ like Gardasil for another contributing factor.

It isn’t just teenagers that are affected. Overall there is a dramatic decrease in fertility in both men and women. Perhaps you or someone you know has been having problems with conceiving. A contributing factor can even be traced to your food. For example, everyone knows that DDT is harmful and has been banned in the United States and has been the contributing factor in putting eagles (among other species) on the endangered list.

Now, hang on to your hats…would you care to take a guess at which country is the leading manufacturer of DDT? The United States which exports it to other countries for use on crops. THEN turns around and says yes, we don’t use DDT anymore…but they import those same crops treated with DDT into the United States! Now, you are asking how DDT can create a fertility problem in humans…well, just look at what it nearly did to the eagles…It is a chemical that mimics hormones – an artificial hormone. And artificial anything in the body cannot be utilized.

The body tries to use it but cannot so instead the artificial hormone ends up with inhibiting the natural testosterone and estrogen and that is why the decrease in fertility (among other things).

I urge you to educate yourself before you take that medication your physician prescribes and before you get that poke in the arm to find out what the contraindications are and when it should not be used. How do you do that? Most pharmacies have what is called a PDR or Physicians’ Desk Reference; ask them if you may look at their copy and look up that medication.

And yes, it is that time of year again, so please refer back to last year for more information on the ‘flu shot’…(I just noticed that scientists may be nearing a universal flu shot developed from survivors of the H1N1 flu…I’m going to be watching this one very closely!)

As I mentioned not only last year, but in the previous post, I pointed out the fiasco of the H1N1 (Swine Flu) Pandemic and what it was ultimately about….Money.

I have been noticing that there are public information commercials about getting your child immunized against whooping cough/pertusis. I believe we, the People, have been lied to by big Pharma, the CDC and bullied by these same organizations that are for our protection. The only thing transparent about these organizations’ statements is the fact that they really do not have our best interests at heart and it all comes down to money . Everyone in the U.S. remembers last year’s swine flu pandemic that wasn’t…It was officially declared by the World Health Organization as over August 9, 2010. Well, brace yourselves for this year’s flood of advertisements urging everyone to get the shot!

Now, it is not surprising that when the WHO released a list of its “pandemic advisors” it finally confirmed that at least five (5) of the key players that influenced the phase six pandemic declaration had financial ties to vaccine makers.

Those of you that read my blog articles last year are aware that there were known carcinogenic ingredients in the H1N1 flu vaccine and that some/most were known to cross the placenta. So my statement still stands: They (WHO) do not have our best interests at heart.

This years’ ‘batch’ of flu shots are about 4 times as dangerous for the elderly than last year’s immunizations. (By the way….didn’t they just destroy….hmm, about 4 million shots – what was that all about?!) The effect of this flu shot for pregnant women is still questionable.

I see by the news that obesity brings on puberty earlier in kids. Well, yeah! It is proven that very thin, fit kids can delay puberty. (I am thinking ‘gymnast’ here.) So it only makes sense that the opposite would be true.

Yes, there is yet another number we must be aware of: our waist measurement. The size of your waistline can be a factor in obesity, diabetes, heart disease. (To name but a few problems.) Many doctors and the Center for Science in the Public Interest are now saying that women should not have a waist measurement larger than 35 inches and men should not be above 40 inches in circumference. Researchers at Harvard Medical School are saying compared to women with a waist smaller than 28 inches, the risk of diabetes was:

About 2 1/2 times higher for a 30-31 inch waist

Almost 4 times higher for a 32 or 33 inch waist

About 5 1/2 times higher for a 38 or larger inch waist

It isn’t clear if a woman with a 28 -29 inch waist had an increased risk.

It has nothing to do with weight, more a case of how it is distributed.

And yet one more thing to worry about: have you heard the story of Sandy Wilson?

She went in for a C-section to deliver her baby and awoke as a patient in the hospital where she worked as a pediatric emergency nurse in Annapolis, Maryland. She had been told she had an infection but had no idea how bad it was about it get.

Flesh-eating bacteria (necrotizing fasciitis is its clinical name) which is a very scary trend of drug-resistant superbugs like the staph germ MRSA increasingly are able to make ‘flesh eating’ toxins and cause nightmarish infections. (Wilson eventually lost her appendix, gall bladder, spleen, part of her stomach and ultimately all of her intestines.) This used to be a rare occurance, not so anymore.

No one really knows how Wilson got the infection. But it all began after her son, Christopher, was born by C-section and she developed a clotting problem and was given blood components pooled from hundreds of donors.

Basically all that can be done with this infection is to cut it out and pray that the surgeons got it all. This is a nasty, nasty infection. It strikes out of the blue, especially obese people, diabetics, cancer patients, transplant receipients and others with weak immune systems – which is a growing group of Americans. It kills 20 percent of its victims and horribly disfigures others. Sandy Wilson was one of the lucky ones that lived.
